Allegorithmic announces MaP|Time V.1.5

Allegorithmic, an award-winning company specialising in the development of innovative tools for motion graphics and visual effects, has announced version 1.5 of the MaP|TIME, the industry’s first fully-editable heterogeneous video filer designer for Adobe After Effects (Mac and Windows) and Discreet combustion (Windows).
Featuring over 450 presets including fully editable non-photorealistic rendering filters and the largest range of image distortion, color manipulation and temporal effects, the new version allows artists to easily create and manipulate highly complex animated patterns and visual effects.
With MaP|TIME version 1.5, users will also enjoy a new easy to use graphic user interface, a history panel to avoid accidental work wasting, and an embedded realtime player, as well as speed improvements, antialiasing, tiling facilities, alpha values.
A preset sharing feature will also allowing artists to share their presets with the rest of the MaP|TIME user community.
MaP|TIME was developed specifically for digital artists who create effects for short movies, commercials, and video/music clips. MaP|TIME enables users to keep a precise handle over extremely complex effects, thereby enhancing their productivity and creativity.
Each of the preset effects can be used to create custom filters, patterns and maps. All the effects are fully- customisable and can easily be edited and modified by hand with just a few mouse clicks.
Thanks to a wide set of user-friendly tools and an intuitive user interface, MaP|TIME is totally interactive and requires little or no training to use to its fullest. Seamlessly integrated within After Effects and Combustion, MaP|TIME is also fully-compatible with MaP|ZONE, Allegorithmic’s groundbreaking texture modeling software. This means that users can easily add time dependency and movements to MaP|ZONE generated stills, filters, maps and patterns. Just like MaP|ZONE, MaP|TIME is based on Allegorithmic’s unique FX Maps technology, a patent-pending set of algorithms that allows simple and direct hand modification of procedural maps.
