GLASGOW TALENT SCREENS IN US

DNA's ‘Beautiful Creatures’, which filmed in Glasgow in 1999 and was released in UK cinemas earlier this year, opened in the US on April 6 2001.
The film, which stars Rachel Weisz and Susan Lynch, was crewed almost exclusively out of Glasgow.
Another Glasgow based production from the DNA stable, ‘Strictly Sinatra’, directed by Peter Capaldi will also get a US release in July. It stars Ian Hart, Brian Cox and Kelly Macdonald.
Finally, Glasgow based director Pat Harkins has his first feature film released in the US in September. ‘The Final Curtain’, which stars Peter O'Toole and Aidan Gillen, was filmed last summer at Twickenham Studios. (CD)
