RED WINS CREATIVE ACCOLADE AT PROMAX/BDA
GLYN Tebbutt, flame and inferno artist at Soho-based creative facility Red, has been awarded the Shim Films Rocket Award at the recent Promax/BDA Europe event held in Amsterdam. '
‘Information Off Air Communication', a project designed, developed and directed by Tebbutt also scooped silver at the awards for best use of typography.
Tebbutt beat a host of other European hopefuls to win the 'Shim Films Rocket Award', which celebrates the outstanding work and potential of a newcomer with 18 months or less professional experience. The award recognises creative and innovative talent in the fields of design, marketing and promotion and was judged by a variety of industry professionals.
A graduate in graphic design, Tebbutt started at Red as a runner before progressing to Harry and then current tools of choice, flame and inferno. He described winning the award as: 'completely rocking my cookie!' but also gave credit to the support, creativity and belief of the team at Red.
