Channel 4 Appoints Executive Creative Director & Creative Partner Of 4creative
Channel 4 has appointed David Wigglesworth as Executive Creative Director & Creative Partner of 4creative, its multi-award-winning in-house creative agency.
In the expanded role, Wigglesworth will continue to focus on maintaining the industry-leading craft and creativity that 4creative is renowned for. In parallel, he will look across the business and collaborate with a variety of teams to bring the Altogether Different spirit of the Channel 4 brand to life in new and innovative ways.
Alongside newly promoted Director of 4creative Miketta Lane, Wigglesworth will be jointly responsible for leading and growing the agency. He will oversee all creative output, working closely with 4creative’s leadership team, and be responsible for driving and delivering agenda-setting and ground-breaking work inspired by Channel 4’s unique remit. Both Lane and Wigglesworth will report to Chief Marketing Officer Katie Jackson.
Wigglesworth joins from his current role as Executive Creative Director at Grey London and brings more than 15 years’ career experience to 4creative. Prior roles have spanned Droga5, Sony Music, St Lukes, Mcgarrybowen & Fallon London, creating award-winning work for brands including Amazon, Prime Video, Diet Coke, Pringles, Vodafone, Peta, Rustlers, Setapp and Maserati.
Katie Jackson said: "After I first met David, I couldn’t stop thinking about our conversation. He pushes limits, revels in creative chaos and really really loves TV. His work is innovative, energetic and boundless, awarded at every major international award show including D&AD, Cannes and the One Show. I'm delighted he is coming to join us at 4 and can’t wait to see what rules we can break together."
