Free career advice sessions for Scotland re-launched

Scotland`s only careers advice service for media freelancers is being re-launched, revamped and expanded, thanks to funding from Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Screen.
Film, television, video, interactive media or radio professionals can apply for a free, confidential, tailored one-to-one careers advice session with an experienced media professional.
Self-employed freelancers usually have no-one to turn to for career development advice, but, as one skillsformedia Scotland client said about talking to an advisor, "I was able to talk with another working professional on an equal level, who was forthright enough to discuss practicalities and give realistic advice on the downs and the upsides."
There are 30 free places for freelancers in Scotland available until the end of March.
