Editing professionals invited to launch of Lightworks Touch v2.0

To mark the release of Lightworks Touch v2.0, editing professionals are invited to a launch party at in London’s Goldcrest Post on Thursday November 18.
Touch v2.0 is latest software from Lightworks’ Academy Award winning family of non-linear editing systems for film and television production.
The system incorporates many enhancements, improving the open integration support, audio functionality and effects handling of the Touch system. Combined with Geevs XT500 and the SharkNET shared storage environment, Touch v2.0 offers a powerful tapeless production environment.
Graham Henderson, Lightworks’ Head of Development, said: "Lightworks is an editor's company. Our only concern is making the finest editing gear money can buy, so come along on November 18 and see why Lightworks is once again becoming the system of choice among many of the industry's top editors."
Keith Gee, Managing Director of Gee Broadcast, Lightworks' parent company, added: "This is the second upgrade to Touch since the new Lightworks UK Ltd operation was formed by Gee Broadcast Systems in May this year. We see the already-rapid pace of development continuing to accelerate, with other new offerings to be released during 2005. Users can be confident that Lightworks is committed to providing the very best editing and production tools available."
The launch begins at 5.30pm and refreshments will be served, but places are limited.
Goldcrest post can be found at: 65/66 Dean St. (entrance off Bourchier St.)
