Digigram authorise Lab X Technologies as US EtherSound Implementor

Digigram, owner and supplier of the patented EtherSound Technology, has announced the appointment of Lab X Technologies as the first Authorised EtherSound Implementor in the US.
The Authorised Implementor Partner program was recently introduced to the EtherSound licensing scheme at the PLASA trade show, London, in order to enable pro audio manufacturers to bring EtherSound-compliant products faster to the market and with lower development investment. Authorised Implementors in particular have the right to design and customise hardware modules that may be directly implemented by other EtherSound licensees. They further have the right to customise EtherSound reference designs and FPGA firmware for the account of other EtherSound licensees.
Lab X Technologies is an engineering design firm specialising in the development and implementation of connectivity, digital signal processing, and embedded systems solutions exclusively for audio markets.
President of Lab X Technologies, Lee Minich, is delighted to become the first American Authorised Implementor. "EtherSound is an excellent networking technology, and here at Lab X, we have followed it from the very beginning. It is a flexible, cost-effective and extremely powerful audio networking solution, and one that is definitely interesting to our customers. We are proud that this appointment recognizes our technological capabilities and expertise in the market," he said.
Jimmy Kawalek, EtherSound Business Development Manager, is equally pleased at the appointment: "We are delighted to have Lab X on board, particularly so soon after the launch of the partner programme. Already experts in networking technologies such as CobraNet and mLAN, and holders of a Development Level EtherSound License, Lab X presents the perfect profile for an Authorised EtherSound Implementor.
“Their appointment means that it is now much easier for US-based companies in particular (although not exclusively) to implement EtherSound. It's a great step forward for us all."
