Telecine artist Jamie Wilkinson joins The Mill

After eight years at VTR, telecine artist Jamie Wilkinson has decided to join The Mill to further raise his profile in the world of commercials.
Wilkinson - whose recent credits include Cris Mudge’s hi-profile Peugeot spots and Stuart Douglas’s beautifully cinematic campaign for British Gas - has developed strong relationships with some of London’s most aesthetic directors, including: Jon Selby (Brave), Rob Sanders (Amarillo), Scott Lyon (Oil Factory) and David Mould (Independent).
Now 30, Wilkinson began his postproduction career as a runner at VTR in 1996 after five year of higher education training in art, design and film. Wilkinson quickly progressed to telecine operator where he spent many years being mentored by internationally acclaimed colourist, Tareq Kubaisi.
Now that Wilkinson has established himself as an accomplished grader in his own right, he’s looking forward to a bright future with The Mill: “Although I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at VTR, I’m excited to join a visual effect house as well respected as The Mill where I know my career will be taken from strength to strength.”
