UK Showcase starts content roll-out

Participants in the forthcoming ‘UK Showcase’ forum in Hollywood include an impressive array from the UK legal and finance sectors.
UK Showcase – an informal celebration of the longstanding and successful filmmaking collaboration between the US and UK – announced its first tranche of participants, September 27.
Among those on hand to discuss UK issues will be John Graydon, Director of Business Services, in the Film Unit of financial specialists Tenon Media; Libby Savill, Head of Media Affairs at legal adviser Olswang. Also providing legal expertise is Nigel Palmer of SJ Berwin. British Film Commissioner Steve Norris is another key participant in the legal and financial program.
Other aspects covered by the UK Showcase program include keynote interviews and technical forums. Valuable moderator experience will be provided by Steven Gaydos, Executive Editor at Variety.
UK Showcase – a celebration of the US/UK film-making partnership – is at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel from November 8-11.
