Extreme music library shrunk onto single DVD

Library Music users have constantly complained about the huge piles of compact discs that they are bombarded with every week, according to Extreme.
As the relentless growth of the ‘Library Music Disc Mountain’ threatens to become an unmanageable polycarbonate stampede, Extreme is paving the way for the industry and has attacked this problem head-on with a simple but effective solution to this giant sized storage nightmare by simply putting the ‘compact’ back into disc.
"We’ve taken our super-sized, larger-than-life thumpin’ jumpin’ flagship X-Series and electronically shrunk it into the World’s first ever Macro-Library. Over 2500 tracks crammed, sardine style, into an iddy biddy space," said Russell Emanuel of Extreme.
“Music Libraries drown their clients with thousands of discs each year and have known that this is a potential time bomb for a long time. We have simply decided to defuse it before it blows up in our face."
Dolph Taylor, Extreme’s Creative Head, said: "Extreme understands that this will not be the solution for everyone and there will be music users that still prefer traditional audio compact discs which we will continue to release. This DVD ROM will be a significant tool for the future and it couldn’t be simpler.”
From the disc you can import MP3s directly into most editing programs such as Avid, Pro Tools and Final Cut Pro with ease. Also included is Extreme’s slick MP3 player (THE MP3MINATOR) which allows easy preview of tracks from any DVD equipped computer.
