Stockyard Ltd have recently acquired from Granada Television the replica set of the Commons Chamber at the Houses of Parliament.
The set has been used on numerous film and television productions, corporate hires and was also a popular attraction on the Granada Experience Tour.
The set has now been completely refurbished and built in a permanent location in Holton, a quiet village between Oxford and London. The hire of the full set includes all major props such as the speaker's mace, despatch boxes and books all ready for use.
There is secure parking areas at the location for a complete unit plus ample ancillary parking areas. Within 1 mile there is a Travel Lodge Hotel plus a supermarket for your convenience, all this set within the attractive Oxfordshire countryside.
Stockyard Ltd was established 16 years ago by two commercial designers to meet the increasing demand for architectural and set components within the television & film industry.
The stock includes basics such as flattage, steel decks, window, doors, columns and flooring i.e. rubber mock paving mats and rubber mock cobble mats.
The company has now expanded to a much wider field with props as diverse as aeroplane and passenger train interiors, UK and American street furniture, poli-rocks, gravestones, coffins, ducting and prison dressing etc, and now carry one of the largest stock in Europe.
