CONTINUED EXPANSION WITHIN TV SET GROUP

IN A MAJOR new development, The Television Set group of facilities have bought the former Atlantic 252 headquarters from Pearson.
The seven floor building represents the group’s second premises in Newman Street and fourth in Soho.
Joint managing directors Terry Bettles and David Thompson are clearly delighted. Bettles said: “Clients are increasingly interested in being co-sited with their facilities, particularly for longer projects. The new building will help us meet this growing demand.”
Thompson added: “Even with our most recent acquisitions we still find we need more space to house the facilities we want to provide.”
In addition, the group announced the purchase of a second Avid Symphony for Arena Digital and an additional Quantel EditBox FX suite for London Post.
The Television Set group of facility houses comprises prime duplicator, conversion and telecine house The Television Set in Golden Square, leading digital post-production houses Arena Digital in Newman Street and London Post in Dean Street. Between the three Company sites all stages, services and aspects of post-production are offered in creative, friendly environments.
