Chyron reveal product launches for IBC 2002

Chyron, one of the world's foremost manufacturer and supplier of innovative products for the broadcast, post production and media industry have announced the following products and upgrades in time for IBC 2002.
4U Sirius - A groundbreaking family of routers from Pro-Bel that tilising innovative technology and provide what Chyron claim is unprecedented flexibility and scalability, Sirius incorporates built-in analogue and digital signal conversion for both video and audio signals. This not only enables different formats to be housed within the same frame, but also allows cross routing between formats. Formats available are SDI/HD/analogue video, AES audio, scaleable from 8x8 to 64x64. Sirius also supports Ethernet and SNMP management and control.
Router WAN capability - Utilising Net Insight's proven DTM technology, combined with Pro-Bel routing and control expertise, Chyron is demonstrating full WAN fibre interconnectivity for SDI.
Icon Fibre Modules - Showing a pair of modules to transmit and receive a single SDI signal over a long-haul optical fibre.
Digiscribe - a very low cost character generation package for digital PC CODI.
Squeezeback - A plug-in PCi card for the Duet LE and LEX enabling full frame, video squeezeback.
Lyric Version 4 - The latest release of Chyron's award winning character generator software with many new features and functions.
Lyric Plug-Ins - Harvester, Quarterback, Twister, iTV and Silhouette - exciting and inexpensive plug-ins extend the functionality of Lyric.
Receiving their European launch at IBC 2002 are Duet LEX, Aprisa VCS and a range of the latest NLE plug-ins.
Duet LEX expands on Duet LE and is billed as a compact, powerful and affordable character generator and graphics system that includes Chyron's award winning Lyric software for stunning graphics composition. Real-time 2D and 3D animation capabilities enable complex graphics to be easily created and played out.
Aprisa VCS - The Aprisa Video Clip Server is a competitively priced and robust general-purpose video server that supports a mixed database of both DVCPRO/DVCAM and multi-bit rate MPEG-2 clips. Each VCS system can be configured for up to eight discrete video channels, four channels with key, or four channels with in-channel transitions.
NLE Plug-Ins - Lyric, Chyron's fully featured character generator application is made available as a plug-in for GVG NewsEdit, Avid Symphony, Avid Digital Studio, Avid Media Composer and Avid Xpress DV.
