MEDIA ANTENNA SCOTLAND TO HOLD EVENTS AT THE EIFF

THE MEDIA Antenna Scotland team are holding three events at Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF), exclusively for industry delegates at EIFF.
The events are designed for industry professionals to find out the latest funding, training and festival opportunities available through the E.U. audio-visual industries support programme, MEDIA Plus.
The following events are taking place in Room 1 at the Point Conference Centre, 32 Bread Street, Edinburgh and are exclusively for industry delegates of EIFF.
On August 20 there will be a MEDIA Plus Briefing. MEDIA Plus is an EU programme to support the film, television and new media industry with a budget of £240 million from 2001 to 2005. Find out how you could benefit from support in the areas of: development, distribution, promotion, festivals and training. The MEDIA Antenna Scotland team will give a presentation of the different areas of the programme.
There will be an opportunity to meet representatives from some of Europe’s top MEDIA
training initiatives in screenwriting on 21 August.
Arista Story Editor Workshops will be represented by Ed Clarke, North by Northwest will be represented by Anette Funch Thomassen and Moonstone International will be represented by Tara Halloran.
On 22 August there will be an opportunity to meet representatives from some of Europe’s top MEDIA training initiatives in management.
EAVE will be represented by Penny Thomson, EURODOC will be represented by Anne Reevell and Global Negotiations will be represented by Catherine Woodford. (CD)
