Leader Electronics To Display Test And Measurement Solutions At Inter BEE 2024

News Image
Leader Electronics Corporation is to demonstrate the latest additions to its wide range of test and measurement solutions at Inter BEE 2024, Makuhari Messe, November 13th-15th.

Making their first InterBEE appearance on Booth 3404 in Hall 3 will be the LeaderPhabrix LPX500 quad-input dual-screen waveform monitor plus the Leader LV5600W ZEN-W Series SDI/IP portable waveform monitor and 1U Leader LV7600W rasterizer.

InterBEE debut: LeaderPhabrix LPX500 quad-input waveform monitor with dual independent touchscreens
The LPX500 hybrid SDI/IP waveform monitor is the first in a new family of video analysis and generation instruments encompassing advanced technology from Leader and PHABRIX. The LPX500 offers a bank of four autonomous analyzers, enabling the simultaneous display of four 4K SDI or IP video source inputs.

A compact second touchscreen unit optionally extends the instrument’s integral touchscreen display capabilities, allowing control from either screen. The second screen supports the same gestures as the integral screen. Coupling to the second display is via a dedicated USB-C connector. Further remote screen combinations are available from either the DisplayPort or SDI Mon BNC display outputs. Dual built-in VNC clients considerably improve the performance of the remote connection to either display over noVNC.

Following the innovative app style interface of PHABRIX instruments, the LPX500 hides the complexity of modern SDI and IP systems and provides an uncluttered view of critical information. The enhanced layouts designed for the LPX500 extend the available screen area. They now feature swipe gestures to navigate left or right through configured layouts, and also allow precise tap, hold and slide for instrument placement. Multiple screen layouts provide a huge canvas of extended screen real estate, optimizing the viewing and control experience.

InterBEE debut: Leader LV5600W ZEN-W Series waveform monitor and LV7600W rasterizer with WebRTC connectivity
Leader's ZEN-W Series comprises the LV5600W waveform monitor and its LV7600W rack-mountable equivalent. The LV5600W is a 3U high half-rack-width unit with an integral 7 inch touchscreen. The LV7600W occupies a compact 1U and has SDI plus TMDS monitor outputs. Developed from the established LV5600 and LV7600, these latest-generation instruments incorporate a wide range of new features plus WebRTC secure remote control and monitoring.

The LV5600W and LV7600W support all the test and measurement tools and options of the original ZEN Series needed to monitor 4K/UHD/2K/HD/SD SDI as well as IP signals seamlessly in a hybrid operating environment. New production-related and post-production-related capabilities include SDR Full Range display of black error, CIE, gamut error, histogram, level error, audio/video timing offset, noise level, test signals, vector and waveform. Also fully supporting SDR Full Range are CINELITE and CINEZONE, including five-bar, frame capture and image quality adjustment. CINEZONE is further enhanced with new presets specifically for ARRI and RED camera users. Bidirectional HDR/SDR conversion allows HDR content to be viewed in SDR and vice versa, simplifying live production, on-set production, and post-production. Reference 3D color lookup tables can be imported via USB memory for activities such as camera shading and HDR supervision. Timecode continuity monitoring is also enhanced, now including date display and source ID.

New audio-related features include a mapping capability which simplifies the task of checking the level of IP audio streams. Among other refinements introduced in both models is NMOS-based seamless high-speed switching of synchronized SMPTE ST 2110-20 IP video signals.
