GVG ANNOUNCE NEW MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS

THE Grass Valley Group have announced several management appointments in their Europe, Africa, and Middle East (EAME) operations.
Charlie McCaw, formerly director of the Grass Valley Group's EAME Systems Business, is now the company's regional vice president for systems and strategic development. He will manage the systems group and provide strategic consultancy to customers. McCaw, who started his career at the BBC in London more than 25 years ago, has held a number of key positions in engineering and project management.
Also promoted today was Paul Wright, who will serve as service director for the Grass Valley Group's EAME Operations. Wright will be responsible for ensuring customers' ease of access to technical resources throughout Europe, including 24-hour call centre management, spare parts ordering, training, and field engineering. He will also be responsible for strategic and service marketing activities in EAME.
Both McCaw and Wright will report to Jean-Marc Hoffer, vice president of the Grass Valley Group's EAME Operations.
