Canon Broadcast Service Team helps keep Euro 2004 on camera

Thanks to the presence of the Canon Broadcast Service Team, all Canon lenses were kept in top working condition prior to and during Euro 2004.
With an office in Porto and one in Lisbon, the team were also quickly on location in case of any additional problems.
Euro 2004 was broadcast live from Portugal every evening to millions of viewers, delivering high quality shots using the best and most reliable equipment. The event was shot with Canon lenses including Digi Super 100s and Digi Super 86s, both with image stabiliser and multiple HJ21ex7.8 and HJ11ex4.7 ENG lenses.
EBS, host broadcaster of Euro 2004, divided camera set-ups into four groups: Opening game/Group matches/Quarter and Semi-finals/Finals.
This totalled 31 matches, which were shot with 27 cameras using a majority of (24 pieces) Canon HD and SD lenses.
The Canon Broadcast Service Team will also be present in Athens for the Olympics from August 6-29.
