Dischromatics complete successful trip to Sony DADC

Following on from the recent new agreement between Dischromatics Ltd and Sony DADC, Managing Director Stewart Spencer and Sales Manager Gareth Spencer were invited to the Austrian company’s headquarters in Salzburg.
Accompanied by Paul Bishop, Sony DADC UK DVD Sales Agent, the Dischromatics duo were involved in a series of meetings along with a full tour of the plant.
A wide-range of issues were discussed over the course of the trip and new deals were struck, including one to provide CD-R’s and DVD-R’s on spindle in bulk and ready-printed to individual customers artwork. The pair also witnessed demonstrations of the latest high-tech copy-protection systems available including Key2AudioXS for Audio creations, ARccOS for video and SecuROM for ROM.
Artwork preparation was also discussed, and a simple set of guidelines were drawn-up to simplify and clarify the artwork preparation process for customers, further improving customer service which Stewart Spencer considers most important for the future development of the company. “Dischromatics acknowledges the need to provide a comprehensive and caring customer service”, he said, “which is why we continue to adapt to the needs of our customer from the moment we receive a request for a quotation right through to, and following, delivery.”
A selection of new and innovative special products were also unveiled, including Sniffle Disks, Black Vinyl Effect CD’s, Black Jewel Cases, Watermarked CD’s and Moving Pictures (Holographic Pictures for inclusion with products).
Sales Manager Gareth Spencer is obviously enthused about the possibilities for Dischromatics clients. “The new products we can supply from Sony DADC provide opportunities to customers”, he explained. “Helping us to help them gain an edge in the marketplace through product range distinction and through quality.”
Further benefits to Dischromatics customers will come as Sony DADC continue development of these unique products.
