RAGE SIGN AGREEMENT WITH BSKYB

RAGE, the UK-based computer games publishers and developers, have announced that they have entered into an agreement with BSkyB, one of Britain's leading providers of digital television and interactive services.
The agreement will enable Rage to deliver games content directly to over 5.3 million digital satellite homes and will increase the range of popular games services already available via the Sky digital satellite platform.
In a first of its kind agreement between game publishers and digital television providers, digital satellite homes across the UK will have exclusive access to a brand new game, ‘Denki Blocks!’, via their television sets, prior to it being available on any other gaming platform.
The game will be available to play on a pay-to-play basis with Rage receiving a share of revenues generated through usage of the game.
The agreement is part of Rage's ongoing strategy of building a large bank of content, which can then be exploited on an expanding number of traditional and emerging games platforms. (CD)
