Veset Adds Support For HTML5 In Its Veset Nimbus

News Image
Veset has added support for Hypertext Markup Language revision 5 (HTML5) in its cloud playout platform, Veset Nimbus.

The integration enables users to create engaging and interactive HTML 5 graphics and import them into a cloud-hosted playout stream.

Nimbus users can create and manipulate graphics directly in the cloud without the need for third-party plugins or software. Content providers are able to add complex animations and dynamic visual effects to their channel, resulting in a more visually engaging experience for viewers. With HTML5, users get greater speed and performance than with other graphics technologies. Compatible with most devices and browsers, it enables Nimbus users to continue to serve multiple platforms, while enhancing the user experience across their channels.

Cloud playout platform Veset Nimbus is an all-in-one solution for advanced channel origination and management. It is an enterprise-grade solution that offers a host of professional features to enable flexible creation, monetisation and delivery of linear channels to OTT or broadcast.

Mārtiņš Magone, CTO, Veset, commented: "Delivering linear channels in the cloud while ensuring a visually appealing user experience has historically been a challenge. Integrating HTML5 directly with our cloud-playout solution gives our users access to the best performing graphics technology to make sure their channels stand out from the crowd and keep viewers engaged."

Importing HMTL5 graphics into a channel is simple within Nimbus. Users can easily adjust the opacity, size, and position of the graphic as needed.
