Euronews Teams Up With Shahid

Euronews has partnered with the world's leading Arabic streaming platform, Shahid to offer trusted impartial international news to the streaming company's growing platform of news and entertainment content on demand, reaching a new audience of millions across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Euronews is the first and only international non-Arab media to provide a news channel within the Shahid viewing platform.

Shahid is part of MBC GROUP – the largest and leading media organisation in the MENA region – and provides content suited to the demands of Arab viewers worldwide. A dual service of ad-free subscription viewing (SVOD) will run in tandem alongside advertisement-based video-on-demand (AVOD).

Euronews has provided unbiased views on global events that have shaped the world of today since 1993. Its programmes are trusted by global audiences and are available in more than 400 million households in some 160 nations. These include 68 per cent of homes in the European Union and UK, extending its global reach to more than 145 million people each month.

This is the first agreement made between the two leading media groups.
