RTÉ BRING POPSTARS TO IRISH TELEVISION

POPSTARS, the TV pop sensation which has been sold to over 14 countries and is already a major hit in The US, Germany, Canada, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, is set to give Irish wannabe pop singers their big break.
Produced by ShinAwil Productions for RTÉ, this series will see the kingmaker of Irish pop dreams, Louis Walsh, and singer Linda Martin, trawl the country in search of Ireland's next pop sensation.
The winners are guaranteed a major record deal from BMG
UK.
RTÉ's Commissioning Editor, Young People's and Music Programmes Mr. Kevin Linehan said: " This is a hugely exciting project that will tap into the enormous well of young talent that exists all around this country."
