FIRST CAMERA MOUNTED SOFT-LIGHT ARRIVES IN EUROPE

PHOTON Beard have announced that the first camera mounted soft-light has arrived in Europe.
The SL3000 Soft Broad designed and built by Cool-Lux of America made its first appearance at IBC 2001.
The SL3000 Soft/Broadlight fixture is constructed from aircraft grade aluminium for strength and durability. The unit has a 100 watt 12 volt lamp and can be supplied with an XLR4, an Anton Bauer ‘Power Tap’ or a cigarette lighter head.
The unit was shown along with the U3 ‘Tri-Lite’ a camera or stand mounted multi-lamp fixture by L.C.C. Photon Technik/Projects Department on the Photon Beard stand.
The U3 ‘Tri-Lite’ is made from aircraft grade aluminium. The fixture uses three lamps, two flood and a spot, the lamps are individually switchable and can be 20 or 35 watt 12 volt. The unit cools very quickly and gives a varied level of lighting switching between lamps.
Representatives from L.C.C. Photon Technik and Projects Department were available throughout the show to discuss and demonstrate the equipment along with a range of equipment from Photon Beard. (CD)
