Photon Beard head for a record year

With strong sales on the books for 2006 Photon Beard secured an order for over £250K (US$475K) for its Highlight range of energy efficient fluorescent lighting luminaires.
Added to some similarly large orders earlier in the year for studios in Taiwan, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka amongst others it provides for a healthy order book. Sales of the portable range of conventional tungsten heads ranging from 200w up to 2kW have also remained strong ensuring a busy time at the factory in Leighton Buzzard just north of London, UK.
Bob Beard, Technical Director and Great Grandson of the founder R.R. Beard said: “Having our factory in the UK gives us total control of build quality and flexibility of production as required for this latest order, allowing us to deliver in record time.”
The Photon Beard range is due to expand shortly with a new selection of tungsten Fresnel units incorporating “cool beam” energy efficient lighting fixtures for which Photon Beard has become renowned.
Simon Larn, R&D Manager has been developing the new range which is due to be launched in early 2007.
When all the above is coupled with the design and installation service offered by Photon Beard you get the image of the oldest lighting company in the world making a resurgence into the market.
