BBC One launches new look junctions

BBC Broadcast has created a new look for BBC One’s channel junctions, first aired on Saturday May 1.
The purpose of the redesign was to create an innovative design system that could work in conjunction with the existing BBC One identity to give a greater branding presence to the channel. The revamped junctions bring a clean, vibrant look to the channel and ease navigation for the audience.
The creative concept focuses on a device at the end of trails and promos that reinforces BBC One’s level of ownership. The solution places the colour red at the core of the BBC One visual identity, whether it is an appointment-to-view trail, pointer or navigation menu. The bold new look makes a strong, clear statement to viewers about the channel while giving information about upcoming programmes.
