RDFI LAUNCH £1M INDIE PRODUCERS FUND

FOLLOWING the recent sale of a stake in RDF Media Group to venture capital partners Sagitta Private Equity, RDF International (RDFI) are launching the Indie Producers Fund (IPF).
MD Matthew Frank, said: “This fund of over £1 million will further strengthen our position as one of the leading UK independent distributors”.
The IPF will be used to secure distribution rights by funding programme development and by financing deficits on programme budgets and providing sales advances.
As distributors RDFI represents a catalogue of over 1000 hours of programming ranging from documentaries and series through to formats and magazines.
Already handling international television distribution on behalf of RDF Television and independent producers both based in the UK and overseas, Frank identifies the key projects that will benefit from this investment fund as high-end factual series. (CD)
