Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund to launch lottery

The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF) are launching a weekly lottery with a top prize of £450.
According to the CTBF, the odds of winning are "better than good - for only £1 a week you gain hundreds of chances a year to win a cash prize!"
The first draw will take place on Friday 29, July 2005, and then each Friday thereafter the computer will randomly select the three weekly prize winning members' numbers. There is no need to claim, as prizes will automatically be sent to the winners. CTBF Lottery members will be issued with a unique five-figure membership number. A list of all weekly winning numbers will be placed online on the CTBF website and will also available via the Lottery Hotline number: 0870 050 1694.
The minimum membership term is 13 weeks (£13.) There is no limit to the number of chances you can buy and the more entries, the more chances you have to win one of the weekly cash prizes - first prize £450; second prize £200; third prize £100.
Contact the CTBF Lottery Hotline or visit the CTBF website www.ctbf.co.ukfor further details.
All completed application forms to be returned (with cheque if applicable) to: The Fundraising Dept, CTBF, FREEPOST 24, London W1E 3DA. To enquire about becoming a member call the CTBF Lottery hotline on 0870 050 1694.
Established in 1924, the CTBF supports people facing hardship, who work ‘Behind Camera’ in the film, cinema, commercial television and affiliated industries and spends around £1.3 million a year helping to improve the lives of over 1,000 beneficiaries a year.
