Vinten launch Vector 9 system

With all the functionality of the original Vector but with increased robustness and tilt range, the New Vectors are designed for the new millennium offering yet more performance enhancements in a smaller package.
The new robust, portable head is ideal for the harsh conditions often faced in outside broadcast. Added features such as a retractable carry handle, an LCD multifunction display offering a counterbalance readout, a permanent 24hr clock and a stopwatch make set-up and repositioning simple.
For large indoor venues and outside work alike, the extended tilt capacity of ± 90° allows the cameraman to achieve shots previously unobtainable, capturing the action directly below them. Longer lenses combined with 16x9 picture formats place huge demands on today's cameraman.
The characteristics of the TF drag system combined with the infinitely adjustable perfect balance, means the effort needed to control the effect of a moving camera remains both constant and predictable.
The new counterbalance mechanism also allows much lighter movement than previously possible, making every move a marked improvement over the market-leading Vector 700.
HDT-1 & 2 offering the most extensive height range available and complement these two heads creating the ideal OB system. With its own integral carrying handle and convenient set up features such as leg markings for repeatable height positioning and new single piece mid level spreader, it provides a very strong and durable support. With an integral level bubble for fine adjustment and the new Pozi-loc clamping system, providing a positive stop to indicate when the leg is locked, it has every element essential in a heavy-duty tripod.
