IMP appoints ZGC Inc to US distribution team

IMP Electronics has appointed ZGC Inc as part of its US distribution team.
ZGC, based in New Jersey, is a well established film and television production reseller.
ZGC will be selling the unique range of Hummingbird sunlight viewable monitors across the USA. Hummingbird monitors fit in well with ZGC’s existing camera and accessory portfolio and fill a long standing gap in the location monitoring market.
Les Zellan, President of ZGC, said: "I was very impressed when I saw a Hummingbird monitor for the first time on a trip to England. Bright sunlight, no Hoodman, and I was able to see the image on the monitor beautifully. You just can't get that with any other monitor that I've seen, and the viewing angle is impressively wide, so you don't have to fight the guy next to you to see the image clearly.

Anyone who has tried to make quality programmes in bright sunlight will know how difficult it is to see fine detail on existing monitors.
