Shooting People launches new web magazine

Shooting People, the UK's largest filmmaking network has, with the assistance of the UK Film Council, launched Wideshot, a free web magazine designed to highlight new filmmaking talent from across the UK.
The launch edition includes in-depth interviews with ‘In Absentia’ directors Richard Heald and James Kibbey, ‘Furry Avenue’ director Chris Waitt, ‘Afterlife’director Alison Peebles, ‘Brown Paper Bag’ writer Geoff Thompson, ‘The Honeymooners’ director Karl Golden, ‘Bye Child’ director Bernard MacLaverty and producer Andrew Bonner.
