4MC COMPLETES ‘URBAN GOTHIC’ SERIES II

‘Urban Gothic’, the series that dragged British horror out of Hammer Museum and on to the city streets returns to Channel 5 on October 22 with nine brand new episodes.
Post production on the critically acclaimed series was completed once
again by 4MC Facility.
‘Urban Gothic’ was shot on a variety of digital tape formats including; Digi-Beta, DVD and a novel little invention nicknamed ‘the headcam’. Colourist, Trevor Brown who carried out the tape to tape grade using Da Vinci Renaissance. He said: “Several levels of quality had to be maintained or generated to give the shows their ‘urban gothic’ look. Power Windows were used extensively to enhance the already spooky lighting to good effect, and also on some graphics orientated material which would otherwise have proved impossible.”
The programs were conformed and onlined by 4MC’s editors using Avid Symphony and a digital linear suite. Phil Key in Editbox added title treatments and graphic effects. (CD)
