Framestore CFC complete Halifax spot

Halifax has a spectacular new spot currently airing which announces their Regular Savings Account interest rate of 6% via a big musical version of 'Sailing'.
The 60-second spot (plus 40-second cut-down), currently airing throughout the UK, was directed by Simon Green for Large.
Created by DLKW, 'Savings-Sailing' features some spectacular digital effects and post production work, courtesy of Framestore CFC.
With a cast of (apparently) hundreds and an office block that literally uproots itself and sets sail on an ocean, the effects team had their work cut out, but VFX Supervisor Ben Cronin and a team of top Framestore CFC artists were more than up to the task.
Shooting took place in Auckland over ten days, with a further three days of model shots in a west London studio, followed by two and a half weeks of postproduction.
