Imago announce corporate name change

Imago Micro, the UK's leading distributor of video communications solutions, is to adopt a new name to underline the changes that have taken place in its organisation over recent years.
The new name, Imago Group plc, provides a clearer identity for the company, which grew substantially last year, and has added three new divisions to its operation within the last eighteen months.
Imago Group plc is increasing its capital to give it greater capacity for growth. However, it will continue to operate in specialist divisions that enable it to focus strongly on customer relations. These divisions include a local office in Scotland, the long established Manchester office servicing the Midlands and North, and Impromp2u, which was successfully launched to provide hire, installation and extended warranty services to the reseller channel.
In addition, Imago Sarl is the French operation, which runs as a separate company within the Imago Group.
Ian Vickerage, Managing Director at Imago Group plc, said: "We believe that small is beautiful, and that our customers receive a better service as a result of dealing with the individual divisions and companies within Imago. Our new name reflects the growth in our overall business, and the methods we are using to achieve this growth without compromising quality and customer service."
