Imago to distribute Samsung monitors

Imago has been appointed by Samsung Electronics to distribute its extensive range of large screen plasma and LCD monitors.
The Samsung products will further strengthen Imago’s line-up of displays suitable for the retail, leisure and digital signage markets.
Samsung is one of the most prolific producers of LCD screens in the world, and its two large screen models, the 32” SM323T and the 40” SM403T, are perfect for occasions where image size is paramount. Both screens offer outstanding brightness and contrast ratios, and resolutions of 1280 x 768 suit applications where picture definition is critical.
The Samsung plasma range represents the very latest advancements in technology, delivering stunning picture quality and image sizes from a unit just nine centimetres in depth. The range includes the PPM63H3, the world’s largest plasma display at 63”, plus the 42” PPM42S3 and 50” PPM50H3 models, both of which offer high resolution, brightness and contrast ratios.
Neil Berville, General Manager Display & Storage at Samsung Electronics (UK) Ltd, said: “We have already got broadline distributors in place, but by working with Imago, we can focus very specifically on selling the plasma and large screen TFT products to the important vertical markets, such as video conferencing. This is not something that the other distributors can do. We also like Imago’s field sales capability which will help us to get in front of the channel effectively.”
