FRAMESTORE WIN BTAA AWARD
FRAMESTORE have won the prestigious Video Post Production award at the BTAA Craft awards for their outstanding work on Chrysler 'Golden Gate'.
The spot was directed by Daniel Kleinman through Spectre - Ritts Hayden for FCB Detroit. FrameStore was also shortlisted in the Colourist category for Renault Clio 'Aggression' and the 3D Animation category for Chrysler 'Golden Gate'. The BTAA Craft award is the second award FrameStore have won for their work on Chrysler 'Golden Gate', having won the Commercials Live Action Effects Category at the 2000 LEAF Awards.
Chrysler 'Golden Gate' features the famous bridge being transformed into a series of s-bends. A team of 13 inferno, matte and 3D artists completed over 45 shots for the 60 second commercial, which was completed in a gruelling 9 week schedule - 4 weeks of preparation, 5 weeks 3d and inferno.
