ITV Agrees Deal With Alchemy Entertainment

ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has struck a first time deal with Kate Sinclair's new production company, Alchemy Entertainment.

Kate has experience sourcing and acquiring the rights to a raft of highly successful film properties pre publication, including 'Slumdog Millionaire' and 'Salmon Fishing in the Yemen'.

She founded Alchemy Entertainment to bring the values and expertise of film to television, using her experience as an Executive Producer at the Forge and nine years at Company Pictures to establish the new company. Kate has also worked for 10 years in film for Film 4, the UK Film Council, Kudos, Seesaw and Aardman, among others.
 
Kate Sinclair said: "Our aim is to make bold, ambitious and vivid stories in a cinematic way. Alchemy has also brought on BAFTA award-winning Kevin Loader ('The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies', 'The Death of Stalin', 'The Lady in the Van') and Paul Ritchie ('McMafia', 'The Woman in Black', 'Nowhere Boy'), both of whom have worked extensively across television and film, to help source, develop and produce for the company.
