BBC KNOWLEDGE IS NOW AVAILABLE ALL DAY

BBC Knowledge, the digital television channel dedicated to the very best cultural and factual programming, will now be available all day, seven days a week, from November 17, 2001.
The extension of the channel’s service on DTT is due to its move from the SDN multiplex to the BBC multiplex. Viewers accessing BBC Knowledge will be guided by simple, on-screen prompts to enable them to re-scan the channel.
To receive the new version of BBC Knowledge, viewers need to perform a ‘Store Channels’ on their set-top box.
The receiver will then search for, and store new channels. This may take up to 20 minutes. The new version of BBC Knowledge will then appear on Channel 13. Favourite channels and parental lock will have to be set up again.
As this process may differ for certain types of digital TV, viewers are asked to refer to their manufacturers instructions if necessary. If they are viewing the message on Channel 800, they already have the new version of BBC Knowledge on Channel 13, and no further action is required.
