Ron Perlman Joins BBC One Thriller 'The Capture'

'Hellboy' actor Ron Perlman has joined the cast of upcoming BBC One thriller, 'The Capture'.

The six-part series, written and directed by Ben Chanan, is a timely surveillance thriller set in London, which looks at a troubling world of misinformation, fake news, and the extraordinary technological capabilities of the intelligence services.

Perlman will feature in the series alongside Callum Turner ('War And Peace', 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald') and Holliday Grainger ('Strike', 'Cinderella').

Other cast announcements include Famke Janssen ('X Men', 'Taken'), Laura Haddock ('Transformers: The Last Knight', 'Guardians Of The Galaxy'), Ben Miles ('The Crown', 'Coupling'), Lia Williams ('The Crown', 'Kiri'), Sophia Brown ('Clique', 'Marcella'), Paul Ritter ('Friday Night Dinner', 'Quantum Of Solace'), Adelayo Adedayo ('Origin', 'Some Girls') and Ralph Ineson ('Harry Potter', 'Game Of Thrones').

Cavan Clerkin ('The Last Kingdom', 'The Inbetweeners'), Barry Ward ('Jimmy's Hall', 'Save Me'), Ginny Holder ('Death In Paradise', 'Holby City') and Nigel Lindsay ('Four Lions', 'Victoria') are also joining the ensemble cast.

The Capture is currently filming in London.

It is being produced by Heyday Television and NBCUniversal International Studios for BBC One.
