Leitch selected for first all-digital newsroom facility in Thailand
Leitch Technology Corporation have announced that iTV, Thailand's only privately-owned television station, have chosen to upgrade their master control room with Leitch's Opus master control switcher.
iTV are scheduled to go on-air with the Opus when they move over to their new facility in February 2003.
The Opus is the latest Leitch equipment purchase in iTV's ongoing upgrade to digital. iTV have also purchased a variety of other Leitch solutions, including four-channel input and eight-channel output high-resolution server systems, six NEWSFlash editing suites, 30 journalist editing workstations and the DVD archive system.
