Exertis Appoints Greg Bennett As UK Head Of AV Solutions

AV distributor Exerts has appointed Greg Bennett as the new head of AV solutions for Exertis Medium in the UK.

Mr Bennett will report to AV director Ian Aitken.

Mr Aitken said: "Exertis is committed to adding value to our vendor partners and customers by providing services and solutions that meet the needs of diverse vertical markets requiring the integration of AV into a total technology proposition. Greg has a wealth of experience in the market and can provide a consultative approach to our AV sales, leveraging the ability to include our expertise in networking, video conferencing and wireless, that we have across our business, as part of the solution."

In his new role he will be responsible for building upon the existing range of Pro AV products for specialist resellers that have access to a range of products and technical expertise.

Mr Bennett joins from corporate reseller SCC where he spent seven years as AV practice manager, developing their solution propositions and managed services for enterprises and SMBs, and building relationships with vendors. Prior to that he held a sales management role at a specialist AV reseller for more than three years, following a twelve career at IBM in IT and AV.
