AXIS FILMS AND GHS SCOTLAND CHANGE NAMES

AXIS Films and GHS Scotland have been trading under separate identities since the merger of the two companies in August 1998.
Whilst both companies have their distinct markets, from January 1, 2002, in order to strengthen and promote the operation, the companies will share the same identity and become axis Glasgow and axis London.
The company appreciates that the name GHS is synonymous with a long and successful history of serving the Scottish film and TV industry and believes that the new name will not detract from the unique and personal service that GHS have offered in the past and will continue to offer in the future.
After a year of change for the whole industry axis films welcomes Bram Jeavons, formerly MCC in Johannesburg, as their new Manager of axis Glasgow.
Mike Ellen, after a number of successful years at the helm, is leaving to go to university on a producers course but will be retained in a consultancy capacity to ensure continuity in the immediate future. (CD)
