Hiltron To Launch Triple-Axis Ka-Band At IBC

Hiltron Communications has chosen IBC2013 as its platform for the launch if the world's first triple-axis motorised 2.4 metre receive-only Ka-band antenna with switchable linear and circular polarisation.
The new HMAM-Ka was developed between Hiltron and ESA Microwave, based on a newly designed Ka-band polariser.
Hiltron's HMAM-Ka incorporates a rotatable satellite antenna mount, designed for use in commercial satellite operations.
It includes motorised drives for azimuth and elevation as well as a polarisation drive.
The HMAM-Ka can accommodate antennas of up to 3.7 metres diameter and is compatible with Hiltron's standard HACU antenna positioning system.
Also available from Hiltron is an HMAM-IOT version of the motorised antenna, which enables uplinks to be operated via inclined-orbit satellites.
Hiltron will be exhibiting on stand B89 in hall 4 of IBC 2013.
