BBC Extends Deal To Broadcast International Eastbourne Event

The BBC has reached a new deal to continue to broadcast the International Eastbourne Event.
The agreement is an extension to the existing partnership and will see live coverage of the tournament remaining free to air for tennis fans across TV, radio and online until 2024.

Oliver Scadgell, LTA Director of Major Events, said: "We are absolutely delighted that the International Eastbourne Event will continue to be broadcast on the BBC until at least 2024.
"The support of the BBC in taking our sport to a wide audience helps us to capitalise on the success we have seen in the professional game, most notably from the likes of Andy Murray and Johanna Konta, and to get more people playing tennis, more often."

Barbara Slater, Director of BBC Sport, added: "Eastbourne is an unmissable fixture on the women's tennis calendar and is one of the most cherished tennis events in the UK. It's great news that the BBC will continue to bring the tournament to audiences across all our platforms until 2024."
