Improved Workflow From iBroadcast At Broadcast Asia 2017
Following a successful Broadcast Asia event last year, Astec will be once again co-exhibiting alongside leading systems integrator Ideal Systems on stand 6M3-01 to present their innovative Network Management System, iBroadcast.
The industry-leading event will be taking place over three days from 23rd-25th May at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. The 2016 show attracted 17,000 international trade attendees, and this year is expected to draw similar numbers from the pro-audio, film and broadcasting industries.
Chris Barlow, Technical Director at Astec Solutions, said: "The 2017 show theme is centred around leaving your 'imagination unbound' through advances in technology. This sets the scene nicely for us, as iBroadcast is already setting new standards in operational efficiency through improved workflow.
"Digitisation, IoT and smart technologies are disrupting the way consumers live and interact with media, but let's not forget that it's only a matter of time before broadcasting operations also change forever. Investing in a flexible data monitoring system like iBroadcast is an accessible step broadcasters can take towards making their operations IoT ready."
iBroadcast Advanced Workflow is a user-configurable, dynamic decision-making engine for integrating automation and manual processes across vendor, system and departmental boundaries to ensure reliable, repeatable responses to platform events. Custom workflows can be defined for each process, to provide superior consistency and uniform responses from operators.
Time to solution is greatly reduced, with correct prioritisation and effective trouble shooting. For those hungry to find out more, representatives from Astec will be available on-stand to explain how this feature works in practice. Visitors will also have the opportunity to try out iBroadcast's simple-to-use user interface and powerful analytics for themselves, seeing first-hand the benefits it could bring to their operation.
