MEDIA PLUS CALL FOR DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS
THE UK MEDIA Desk have announced that the long-awaited Call for Proposals (84/2001) for Development Funding has now opened.
The scheme provides UK industry professionals with the opportunity to apply for film development funding and applications will be taken from UK production companies (and European production companies generally) wishing to apply for development funding for their projects.
The scheme is investing in four key categories: Fiction (minimum duration 50 minutes), Creative Documentary (minimum duration 25 minutes), Animation (minimum duration 25 minutes) and Multimedia.
The funding covers single projects and slate funding. The final date for submissions is July1, 2002.
While applications can be sent to Brussels directly, the application process can be assisted through the UK MEDIA Desk.
The Desk offers guidance and person-to-person consultation on the various schemes and application processes from its London office base and is open Monday to Friday from 09.30hrs to 18.00hrs.
