New appointments at McMillan

MCMILLAN’S Soho branch have announced a new addition to their team, John Smith, who has been appointed senior sales manager for the south of England.
Previously of Mar-Com and Sony, Smith (45) comes from Essex, and brings with him a wealth of experience from over 20 years in the sector.
As a director with Mar-Com, Smith drove forward many new areas of business for the company, and oversaw a successful expansion in the outsourcing of services and led the broadcast and professional sales arm of the firm.
Prior to that, Smith spent 12 years with Sony Broadcast and Professional as a national sales manager for their channel sales and strategy division. In addition to operating in the direct sales channels, he also played a significant role in a variety of areas. He also played a lead role in developing channel identity and branding, account management and e-commerce.
Mr Smith said: “I am delighted to have joined McMillan, as it is a company I have known and respected for many years.”
He also said that is looking forward to continuing on with McMillan's established success in the south of England. (GMcG)
