IABM has confirmed the new Chair, plus the full line-up for its North America Regional Council.

Michael Accardi, President of CueScript, has been appointed Chair, and will serve for a period of two years, as will all Council members. He will also serve on the central IABM Members' Board. Mr Accardi has more than 27 years in management, sales, marketing and product development with manufacturers including Sachtler, Anton/Bauer, Autoscript and Vitec Videocom, before launching CueScript in 2014.

Serving on the North America Regional Council with Accardi are Joe Commare (Marketing Manager, Riedel), Brian Cram (CEO, Dejero), George Elsaesser (President, GEA & Associates), Mary Kay Evans (CMO, Verizon), Andy Hurt (SVP Marketing & Business Development, Wazee Digital), Peer Jambor (Marketing & Comms Manager, VITEC Inc.), Ted Korte (CEO, Qligent), Brian Olson (VP Product Management, NewTek), Adam Schadle (VP, Video Clarity), Neerav Shah (Senior VP Strategic Marketing, Grass Valley), Steve Sloane (Director Sales, Nevion), Thomas Tang (President, Apantac), and John Tkaczewski (President, FileCatalyst).

"I am thrilled to serve as the Chair for IABM NA Regional Council," said Accardi. "CueScript having dual headquarters in the USA and UK has given me great exposure to the value of IABM. Having served on the NA Council it is obvious having this forum strengthens all members by exploiting synergies, having access to an incredible knowledge base, and forums to discuss technology and economic trends facing our industry. My goal for the next two years is not only that our members take advantage of this great resource, but also to add their voices. As I see it, the true value is the synergy we achieve by having all members contributing."

Caryn Cohen, IABM Director, North America, added: "I am delighted to have such an experienced, diverse, and passionate group of professionals on the North America council. Each one of them brings an area of specialty and diversity in size, location, and type of company they represent. These North America council members will be a great asset to IABM and help us to shape the future of the association, define and launch compelling benefits to our members, and provide member companies with invaluable resources to help them do business."

"The IABM North America Regional Council got off to a flying start last year and we are very glad that six of its members are returning for the new council," commented Peter White, CEO, IABM. "The idea behind our Regional Councils is to bring local knowledge and relevance to members in those regions, backed up by the full array of central IABM resources. The wealth of industry experience and regional expertise that makes up the new North America Regional Council will bring even greater relevance and engagement for all our members in the region."
