RTÉ announce new Editor of Current Affairs
RTÉ have announced the appointment of David Nally as Editor of Current Affairs, Television.
Nally joined RTÉ nine years ago as a reporter in Current Affairs, working on the business programme 'Marketplace'. He trained as a producer/director in 2001 and became Executive Producer of RTÉ's flagship current affairs programme 'Prime Time' the following year.
Prior to RTÉ, Nally was a reporter with the Sunday Tribune from 1989, becoming the paper's Deputy Business Editor for two years between 1992 to 1994.
Nally is from Rathfarnham, County Dublin and studied Economics and Maths at Trinity College before taking a Diploma in Journalism at DCU and a Masters in Business Studies at UCD.
