TVT Extends Contract With BBC Worldwide ANZ

TVT has extended its contract with BBC Worldwide Australia and New Zealand, it has been announced. The partnership will see TVT manage and co-ordinate the broadcaster's media assets for playout in Australia and New Zealand, and enable the business to continue to deliver high quality programmes across channel brands BBC First, UKTV, BBC Knowledge and CBeebies.

The two companies have been working together to improve efficiency in workflow, streamlining operations for ingest, compliance editing, quality control and deliver to playout and asset archiving. TVT's ContentSelect platform, which is cloud based, will roll-out further in the coming months and is designed to ensure BBC Worldwide ANZ's content continues to be delivered to playout with the correct specifications and to time.

The broadcaster will also be afforded a greater amount of control over its assets with real-time updates of its content along the workflow chain.
