BBC Broadcast secure seven-year contract with BBC Worldwide

BBC Broadcast, who provide channel management services to both the BBC and other companies, have secured a seven-year contract for playout and presentation of BBC Prime and BBC Food, which are owned by BBC Worldwide.
The global deal includes playout and creative services for BBC Prime and BBC Food throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. BBC Food and BBC Prime will be among the first channels to be played out from the Broadcast Centre in West London, where BBC Broadcast will relocate to in October of this year. The Broadcast Centre will be the most advanced playout facility in Europe.
BBC Broadcast has played out BBC Prime for the past eight years. Additionally, this contract renewal includes playout of BBC Food in Europe plus its creative services.
